this week's eposide
What did everyone think about this week's episode?

The very young woman was taking ephedrine, eating next to nothing, and taking nutritional advice from a bodybuilder ... she did lose a lot of weight, but I wonder if it'll stay off, given her extreme diet to get there.

And then she went on and on and on about feminist issues of body image, but never resolved herself to enjoy her body - and in the end, posed in a bikini for a men's magazine!

I was disgusted - that wasn't healthy weight loss, and the show's trainer only barely tried to dissuade her from that path.

She seemed dangerous to me - clearly had dysmorphic body issues, clearly was undertaking to lose weight in a dangerous way... the worst part for me was how her own father was encouraging her!

i was also disappointed and left shaking my head. she totally did it for the wrong reasons...and i actually thought that in four months with that diet and ephedra she 'should' have lost more than 21lbs. i could see she was torn between 'embrace your curvy self' and 'fit the norm' and in the end she totally sold out. those photos were airbrushed all to shyte and were totally not representitive of who she was which i thought defeated the whole purpose of the show. it made me mad that she had a spot on there when there are people who probably applied who were doing it for the right reasons that didn't get on. that whole episode was different than the 2 i saw before that one. and she only had 4 months...i wonder what happened there. maybe someone else did 2 months and then backed out so they took this one for 4? who knows. *sorry for long rant...she struck a nerve with me too....big time.

Usually, from what I've seen, it's been a longer process for the guests - but this woman had next to no weight to lose in the first place.

I wanted to smack her, honestly - sitting there in her skinny jeans, whining about how she's not ripped enough. How is that helping the public?

I thought her friend who said she didn't need to lose weight to be beautiful was hot. She should have been in the photoshoot at the end.
